H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK and H.E. Fahad Bin Assaad Bin Abdulkareem ABUALNASR, Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Ankara, held a productive meeting at SESRIC Headquarters. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between SESRIC and Saudi Arabia, particularly in capacity-building initiatives and partnerships with the Saudi national institutions.

Thanking H.E. Fahad Bin Assaad Bin Abdulkareem ABUALNASR for his courtesy visit, H.E. SELÇUK expressed her appreciation for the strong cooperation between SESRIC and the public institutions in Saudi Arabia. So far, SESRIC has organized 122 capacity-building activities benefiting 290 participants from the Saudi public institutions. These activities include training courses, workshops, webinars, network meetings, and projects, held both virtually and physically. Also, various Saudi national institutions contributed to the Centre’s activities.

In response, H.E. ABUALNASR expressed the Kingdom’s readiness to further enhance this collaboration and share Saudi Arabia’s expertise in various domains.

The meeting gave the opportunity to both sides to explore potential areas for future cooperation, including knowledge transfer through various modalities in the socio-economic fields. The visit concluded with both representatives affirming their shared commitment to strengthening collaboration. They also underscored the significance of experience sharing and cooperation for socio-economic development within the wider OIC community.
