SESRIC and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) Sign an MoU to Strengthen Partnership and Cooperation

SESRIC and the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) have solidified their commitment to fostering collaboration and mutual cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement, inked by H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, Director General of SESRIC, and Prof. Dr. Ahmad Faris BIN ISMAIL, Deputy Rector of IIUM in Academic and Internationalisation, on 16 January 2024, during the Coordination Meeting of OIC Islamic Universities (IUCM) and relevant OIC institutions in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, establishes a framework for partnership in areas of shared interest.

The MoU between SESRIC and IIUM serves as a catalyst for constructive collaboration, providing a platform for both institutions to collectively pursue common objectives and engage in cooperative activities beneficial to OIC member countries. This momentous signing ceremony signifies a unified vision to enhance the institutional and human capacities of relevant national entities within member countries.

Anticipated outcomes of this MoU include the facilitation of impactful collaboration between SESRIC and IIUM, fostering knowledge exchange, initiating joint projects, and implementing capacity-building initiatives. In entering into this MoU, SESRIC and IIUM affirm their steadfast dedication to leveraging their combined expertise and resources.
