H.E. Mr. Ismail Issa Ismail RIFAIE, Ambassador of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Türkiye, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mrs. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, Director General of SESRIC on 11 May 2023. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate H.E. Mrs. Selçuk on her appointment as the new Director General of SESRIC and discuss opportunities for enhancing collaboration between national institutions of Jordan and SESRIC, emphasizing areas of mutual interest and shared objectives.

During the meeting, H.E. Mrs. SELÇUK provided an overview of SESRIC's ongoing collaborations with national institutions of Jordan and outlined future prospects for strengthening cooperation. H.E. Mr. RIFAIE recognized SESRIC's contributions to the development of human and institutional capacities in Jordan and emphasized the importance of OIC’s role.

The two parties agreed on several measures to deepen their collaboration. These included identifying specific areas of collaboration and promoting active participation of Jordanian national institutions in SESRIC's initiatives.

The meeting concluded on a positive note with both parties committed to working together to address key challenges and contribute to socio-economic development in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the wider OIC community.
