H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General of the OIC received H.E. Mr. Nebil Dabur, Director General of SESRIC, in his office in Jeddah, KSA, on 17 January 2022. The Director General briefed H.E. the Secretary General on the various programmes, projects and activities of SESRIC in the three mandated areas of the Centre; i.e. statistics, research and training. The Director General informed H.E. the Secretary General that SESRIC contribute to the implementations of the resolutions adopted by many various OIC fora in the domain of socio-economic development, particularly the OIC sectoral Ministerial Conferences and relevant OIC Standing Committees. He also assured the Secretary General that SESRIC will continue its excellent cooperation relations with the various departments at the OIC General Secretariat. On his part, H.E. the Secretary General appreciated the work of SESRIC and the role of SESRIC towards enhancing the intra-OIC cooperation levels in various socio-economic domains and wished all the success for SESRIC in this important role under the leadership of the Director General.
