Within the framework of the Vocational Education and Training Programme for the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-VET), SESRIC, in cooperation with the Regional Educational Center of ICESCO in Chad, organised a Training Course on “Designing Revenue-Generating Projects for Entrepreneurs” on 24-28 May 2021 through an online video conferencing platform. The training course was provided by a competent expert for the benefit of 31 entrepreneurs from Chad.

The main objective of the training course was to provide insights on how to generate business ideas according to labour market needs and in line with the available natural resources in Chad that are suitable for micro-projects. The technical sessions of the training course provided participants with a comprehensive guide on starting a business, touching upon all stages, including the project cycle, operational planning, and sustainability of the project towards achieving sufficient revenue and poverty alleviation.

This training course was designed in line with the virtual training solutions undertaken by SESRIC to better serve the Centre’s training activities and keep participants motivated and engaged during this challenging time of global crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
