The course was conducted through a video conferencing platform and applied interactive learning approaches for the benefit of more than 40 experts and executives from the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Sessions of the training were conducted by distinguished experts from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) of the Republic of Turkey, Agricultural and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) of Turkey, Bursa, Eskisehir, Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) and UNDP Istanbul International Centre for Private Sector in Development (IICPSD).

The diversified sessions provided a transfer of knowledge and best practices on the development and promotion of these segments by sharing Turkish experiences in developing successful policies, regulations, standards and marketing strategies.

The training course was designed in line with the virtual training solutions undertaken by SESRIC in order to better serve the Centre’s training activities and keep participants motivated and engaged during this time of global crisis due to COVID-19.
