Graduation Ceremony of the ‘NAMA Competition for Entrepreneurship’

The Graduation Ceremony of the “NAMA Competition for Entrepreneurship” took place on 02 March 2020 at BINA Incubator in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. The event was organized within the framework of the “SME Development and Empowerment Project” of the BINA Program, which is a joint initiative of the SESRIC, the Libyan Program for Reintegration and Development (LPRD) and the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB).

During the event, 10 incubated projects competed after a 100-day marathon of incubation and mentorship and pitched their businesses in front of an expert jury and distinguished guests. The ceremony concluded with the announcement of 3 winner projects which were awarded with top 3 prizes given by the organizers. Moreover, the jury chose additional five winning projects which were granted to receive a total seed loan of TRY 150,000 from the SEED Association.

At the end of the event, second version of the “NAMA Competition” was launched to support new entrepreneurial projects in the BINA Incubator. Applications for the competition will be accepted until 15 April 2020 through the website of the BINA Program and winning projects will be incubated for a maximum period of 3 months to receive mentoring, logistical and administrative support to grow their businesses.

“NAMA Competition for Entrepreneurship” was launched at BINA Incubator in 2019 with a view to supporting entrepreneurial activities and facilitating the creation of new ventures of the Arab Community in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.
