SESRIC participated in the 3rd Meeting of Heads of National Medicines Regulatory Authorities of OIC Member Countries, held on 16-17 December 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, Mr. Mazhar HUSSAIN, Director of the Research Department at SESRIC, delivered a detailed presentation entitled "Medicines Regulation and R&D Ecosystems in OIC Countries." The presentation addressed the important role of regulatory frameworks and research and development ecosystems in strengthening the pharmaceutical sector across OIC Member Countries. It also provided an opportunity to highlight the significance of enhancing institutional capacities, promoting knowledge sharing, and strengthening cooperation in medicines regulation and pharmaceutical research.
