SESRIC organised the Study Visit on ‘Income and Consumption Statistics’ on 13-15 November 2018 in Cairo, Egypt within the framework of OIC Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme. Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) of Egypt hosted the study visit for the benefit of one delegate from General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) of Saudi Arabia.

The aims of the Study Visit were to strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions in the field of income and consumption statistics, and exchange knowledge on how to design and complete the household expenditure surveys as well as the application of international classifications.
