SESRIC organised a Study Visit on ‘Income and Consumption Statistics’ on 8-10 October 2018 in Tunis, Tunisia within the framework of OIC Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme. National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Tunisia hosted the study visit with the participation of two statisticians from Department of Statistics (DOS) of Jordan.

The Study Visit aimed to strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions in the field of income and consumption statistics, and exchange knowledge on how to design and complete the household expenditure surveys as well as the methodology used for measurement of poverty and the utilization of nutrition data.
