Training Course on 'Poverty Reduction Projects' in Suriname

Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) organised, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Development Planning, Republic of Indonesia, a training course on “Poverty Reduction Projects and Social Assistance and Aid Programmes” within the framework of the OIC Poverty Alleviation Programme (OIC-PAP) on 6-8 May 2014 in Paramaribo, Suriname. The course was provided by Mr. Maliki, Deputy Director of Poverty Alleviation Program Development, and was attended by several experts from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing of Suriname.

The training course on “Poverty Reduction Projects and Social Assistance and Aid Programmes” mainly covered the following subjects:
