SESRIC convened a high-level edition of its SESRIC Conversations series on 21 October 2026 at the Al-Aqsa Library at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), to mark World Food Day 2026. Held under the theme “From Success Stories to Scalable Solutions in OIC Member Countries”, the event brought together representatives of national institutions, diplomatic missions, international organisations, development partners, technical experts and students from OIC Member Countries. The discussions focused on how successful national experiences could be transformed into scalable solutions through regional cooperation, policy innovation and strategic investment to advance sustainable agrifood systems.

SESRIC convened the third session of its high-level SESRIC Conversations series under the theme “Advancing Rights of Persons with Disabilities across the OIC: Practical Models and Pathways for Policy Innovations” on 6 October 2026 at the Al-Aqsa Library at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara. The session brought together representatives of diplomatic missions, national institutions, international organizations, specialized agencies and civil society to examine practical approaches to advancing the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities, assess regional policy and implementation mechanisms, and explore pathways for translating international and OIC commitments into measurable socio-economic outcomes.

SESRIC hosted the second session of its SESRIC Conversations series on “Digital Addiction and Youth Mental Health” on 1 July 2026, organised in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Türkiye Country Office.
