The Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has launched its prestigious 2025 COMSTECH Awards, designed to recognize and support outstanding scientific contributions in basic sciences. The awards will be presented during the forthcoming Session of the COMSTECH General Assembly, and will cover the fields of Biology and Chemistry.

Nominations for the 2025 COMSTECH Awards are now open and can be submitted by science academies, research councils, universities, research institutions, and distinguished scientists in OIC member states. Nominations will be evaluated by expert panels appointed by the Coordinator General of COMSTECH. To apply, candidates must submit the following documents to awards@comstech.org by Monday, 31 March 2025:

•  A signed cover letter
• A completed application form (to be downloaded from http://www.comstech.org)
• CV (maximum 4000 words)
• A list of publications
• An endorsement letter from the Head of their institution

All documents must be in English, with translations provided where necessary. Late submissions will not be considered.
