Within the framework of Occupational Safety and Health Capacity Building (OSHCaB) Programme of OIC Member States, SESRIC organised a training course on ‘Occupational Safety and Health’ in Ramallah, Palestine on 7–8 November, 2018.

The training course was provided by 2 experts from the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety, Research and Development, under the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services of Republic of Turkey for the benefit of 20 experts from Palestine.

The training course mainly focused on the following topics: prevention of occupational accidents, risk assessment approach, safe use of workplaces, emergency awareness and preparedness, risk assessment, and occupational hygiene physical and chemical factors.
