IT Background : Obtained a degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, India in 1995. Actively involved in Public Health management and the implementation of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) initiatives in health sectors for the last 20 years.
Project Experience: Assist in the implementation of the Malaysian clinical information solution - Tele Primary Care (TPC) within the Ministry of Health, Malaysia for 3 years. During the same period, he was also involved with the ACG ( Adjusted Clinical Groups) - a population based casemix application initiatives and co authored various papers on ACGs. Involved in health care solution related products, Head of department of Project Management Office and provided consultation and domain expertise services toward health related solutions. He also led in formulating, designing and conduct Change Management courses on the country high profile project known as MyGovXchange, one of the e-Government initiatives for Malaysia Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), Prime Minister office, Malaysia. Joined ACG-International, John Hopkins University. He is currently assigned by ACG International team as senior consultant supporting the Asia Pacific countries for the application of the Johns Hopkins ACG® Case-Mix System, the most widely used population-based case-mix system in the world. In addition, he assists in training and model development to tailor solutions to specific countries’ needs.
