6th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) will be involved in organising the 6th Lindau Meeting on Economic Sciences in partnership with the Lindau Council of Nobel Laureate, Germany, on 22-26 August 2017 in Lindau, Germany.

The meeting will be attended by about 20 Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences and 400 international young economists. As a Centre for conducting research on socioeconomic facts of the OIC Member Countries, it would encourage the economists of the Member Countries to attend at this meeting as the efficacy is not doubted.

The application and nomination phases have already been started at the beginning of this November 2016. Permanent nationals of the OIC Member Countries studying or working in their respective countries and fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply. The award is worth about €5000 per individual, including travel grant, registration fee, economy class return air ticket and lodging boarding for one to two weeks in Germany.
