SESRIC Internship Programme
     

SESRIC offers internships to highly motivated and successful young people interested to learn more about the economic and social issues which affect OIC Member States and Muslim communities around the World. The program provides opportunities for university students to obtain hands-on experience, as well as to improve their skills and knowledge of working in an international environment.

The program is open to students who are either nationals of the OIC Member States or belong to a Muslim Community. Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program pursuing a Master's or a PhD degree.

The Internship Program seeks candidates in the following fields: statistics, economics, business, finance, international relations, politics, public administration, human resource development (public health, education, population), social science (anthropology, sociology) as well as other related fields. Fluency in one of the official OIC languages (Arabic, English or French) is required.

The interns are, according to their background, expected to fulfil the following duties:

  • Record and format different data sets diligently and carefully,
  • Analyze data with basic statistical methods and visualization techniques, interpret results, and provide written summaries of data analysis,
  • Conduct analytical research on various socio-economic issues,
  • Design and implement training and cooperation projects and programs,
  • Building and following-up effective communications,
  • Assist in the translation of statistical documents,
  • Follow internal processes and procedures.

Interns are responsible for their own living accommodations. Internship is available only at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara, Türkiye, with a minimum duration of four weeks. Successful interns will be awarded SESRIC Internship Certificate.

Only shortlisted candidates will be notified to discuss their interest and availability. Candidates are selected on a competitive basis. SESRIC also recruits interns from the OIC International Internship Programme (OIC INTERN) based on the suitability of candidates.
