The Centre organised a training course on “Quality in Statistics & Applications of New Data Collection Methods” at the State Committee on Statistics of Tajikistan, on March 1-3, 2010. The course was provided by Mr. Inan Inanli, expert from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) and was attended by 20 staff members of the State Committee on Statistics of Tajikistan.

The training course on “Quality in Statistics & Applications of New Data Collection Methods” mainly covered the following subjects:

• Sources and Measurement of Non-Sampling Methods
• Response Reliability Surveys
• Statistical Process Controll
• Eurostat Quality Components

The aim of this training course was to improve the statistical capacity building and performance of the State Committee on Statistics of Tajikistan on “Quality in Statistics & Applications of New Data Collection Methods”.
