The 34^th Ministerial Session the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) took place on 26-29 November 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey. High-level representatives from the Member States and the OIC institutions, as well as other international organizations, NGOs, think tanks, private sector organizations and the academia around the globe attended the session.

COMCEC, whose Permanent Chairman is held by the Republic of Turkey, is a Ministerial-level platform established in 1981 at the Third Islamic Summit Conference and meets annually to discuss common economic issues and global economic developments concerning OIC Countries and consider new mechanisms to promote economic and commercial cooperation among the Member States.

The Follow-up meetings take place annually in Turkey to review the progress achieved in the implementation of the COMCEC decisions.
