SESRIC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UNA-OIC

SESRIC and Union of News Agency (UNA-OIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the fields of training and development of journalists' skills in the member agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The MoU was signed by Counselor Issa Khaireh Robleh, General Manager of UNA-OIC and Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya, Director General of SESRIC on the sideline of the Second ACMOI meeting on 6 December 2017 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

After the signing ceremony, Mr. Robleh said that UNA-OIC aspires through the agreement to strengthen relations between the two institutions to serve Islamic issues and to identify the results of statistics and studies prepared by SESRIC to serve the Islamic communities, as well as to organize joint training courses at UNA-OIC Training Center to develop the skills of journalists in member agencies.

For his part, Ambassador Kulaklıkaya welcomed the signing of the agreement with UNA-OIC, expressing his hope that the agreement will contribute to the dissemination of the contents and results of the reports, studies and the in-depth statistics and analysis carried out by SESRIC on different areas. He added that MoU will facilitate the organizing of joint training and workshops for journalists and improve the work of media in Islamic countries.
