Training Course on “Occupational Hygiene” in Pakistan

The Centre organised a training course on “Occupational Hygiene” in collaboration with the Saeed Ahmed Awan Centre for the Improvement of Working Conditions & Environment, Pakistan on 9-10 March 2015. The training course was provided by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia, with the attendance of participants from public and private sectors in Pakistan.

The training course ended with the remarks by Rana Muhammad Ahmed Noon, Senior Manager Bata Pakistan Ltd. Mr. Noon mentioned on the risks involved in all type of industrial enterprises within the context of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). He appreciated the contribution of SESRIC in the organisation of the event.

The training course on “Occupational Hygiene” mainly covered the following topics:

  • Chemical Safety
  • Airborne chemicals
  • CHRA
  • Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI)

  • Ergonomics
