SESRIC and SSI of Turkey signed MoU

The Centre and the Social Security Institution of the Republic of Turkey have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to initiate and facilitate collaboration and cooperation between both institutions in matters of common interest and implementation of joint research and capacity building projects for the benefit of Social Security Institutions in OIC Member Countries. The MoU was signed on 18 November 2014 by Prof. Savaş Alpay, Director General of SESRIC, and Mrs. Yadigar Gökalp İlhan, President of Turkish SSI.

The MoU aims at bringing about a synergy between SESRIC and Turkish SSI in the implementation of social security capacity building and training programmes for exchange of knowledge and best practices among Social Security Institutions in OIC Member Countries, as well as to enhance cooperation for innovative approaches, techniques and methods to increase social security coverage in OIC Member Countries.
