The Cairo based National Research Centre (NRC) will host the 20^th Meeting of COMSATS Coordinating Council on 15-16 May 2017 in Cairo, Egypt.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by SESRIC and COMSATS in November 2015, to share data, publications, documents, studies and statistics in possession relevant to the scientific and economic standings as well as universities, R&D organisations and S&T sector of the common Member Countries. Also SESRIC and COMSATS agreed to conduct joint research studies aimed at assessing socio-economic needs as well as to jointly organise workshops, seminars and training courses in the common Member Countries.
